All regionsEurope and Central Asia raised $113.6 billion, accounting for 40 percent of total developing country value. The region had 613 transactions since 2000 (excluding enterprises privatized through voucher and mass privatization schemes). Turkey, the Russian Federation, and Poland together accounted for nearly 50 percent of regional value. These three countries, along with the Czech Republic and Romania, are the five top value generators in the region. Infrastructure and energy transactions constitute nearly 70 percent of regional value.
